Artemis Racing Rotates Second Yacht for Load Testing

Artemis Racing brought their second AC72 yacht, now assembled, out of the shed at their Alameda base to rotate it on July 6th for continued testing. Two cranes and a lot of patience later, the platform rested inverted on its stands. Racing for the new boat is said to be about two weeks away, provided the tests run as expected. Several major tests were planned throughout this week, with loads being applied while stresses and deflections are measured to verify structural performance.
