Louis Vuitton Pacific Series
A welcome addition to the Viaduct for the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series is a pontoon bridge between Te Waro island and the team bases. Also new to the base area –- and adding considerably to the festive atmosphere -- is a temporary Sky City Pacific Bar. There’s a different vibe here than for the Cup regattas. With ETNZ and BMW Oracle shore crews taking care of the boats each night, once the team debriefs are over the sailors are free to socialize. The Sky Bar has become a favorite gathering place in the late afternoons. Team members can be seen mingling with family, friends, and fans, and renewing old relationships with each other. the Friendly and Fun Regatta, indeed.
