Louis Vuitton Cup
Round Robin 1 and 2 Calendar

Revised Schedule:
The Round Robin schedules have being greatly revised due to an unexpected large number of race cancellations at the beginning of RR1.  See notes below for more explanation.

Courses:
Under normal circumstances, Matches 1-2-3 of each Flight will be sailed on the north race area with the ‘Romeo’ Race Committee while Matches 4-5-6 will be on the south race area, with the ‘Juliet’ Race Committee.

Round Robin One

Round Robin Two

Above is Round Robin scheduling based on amended LVC Notice of Race (NOR), endorsed April 21 by the Challenger Commission, and the rescheduled dates for the flights.  As more cancellations may occur, dates, flight numbers, and course assignments are fluid as the Race Committee sees fit.   The pairings will not change, but the dates will as needed.  A Challenger Commission meeting following racing April 21 endorsed the change.  Check the Challenger Commission web site for more details.

AMENDED SCHEDULING:
For Round Robin One the Race Committee intends to start no more than two Flights of races each day, with the first warning signal scheduled to sound at 14:05. If, due to weather conditions, it is impossible to complete a scheduled Flight, it shall be re-scheduled to the next day. Un-sailed Matches shall be sailed at the first available racing opportunity. Round Robin One will be completed before the start of Round Robin Two.

For Round Robin Two, one Flight of races is scheduled each day, with the first warning signal scheduled to sound at 14:05. If, due to weather conditions, a Flight cannot be sailed it shall be re-scheduled on the next day, as the first Match of a two-Flight day. As soon as all re-scheduled Flights have been completed, the program will revert to one Flight per day. If it is impossible to run all the scheduled Matches on a day, such Matches shall be sailed at the first available racing opportunity (Lay day/Reserve day).

Original NOR scheduling was as below, before (4/21)  revision:

For Round Robin One the Race Committee intends to start no more than two flights of races each day, with the first warning signal scheduled to sound at 14:05. If, due to weather conditions, it is impossible to run all the scheduled Matches on a day, the Regatta Director will respect the original pairing list as much as possible and re-schedule the un-sailed matches on the first available slots available (reserve days and one race days, followed by one-race days of Round Robin Two).

For Round Robin Two the Race Committee intends to start no more than one flight of races each day, with the first warning signal scheduled to sound at 14:05. If, due to weather conditions, it is impossible to run all the scheduled Matches on a day, or if there are matches un-sailed remaining from Round Robin One, the Regatta Director will respect the original pairing list as much as possible and re-schedule the un-sailed matches as the second start of the day until the schedule is back on track and then on the first available reserve day.
