Scoring System for LV Act One:
 Fleet Races: 1st place finish earns 1 point for each boat participating; subsequent finishers earn 1 point for every boat participating except those placing above them. With six boats, 1st=6 points, 2nd=5 points, 3rd=4 points, 4th=3 points, 5th=2 points, 6th=1 point.

Match Races: each match winner is awarded 6 points, losers gain no points.

Combined standings: points from fleet and match racing are totaled together.

*Fleet Races 2 and 4 were not held.

Wednesday:
ETNZ Again Tunes With Alinghi. The second day of practice at Marseille, and once again Emirates Team New Zealand and Alinghi lined up to tune the boats - and race a little.

Thursday:
All six Act One teams were out in 20+ kt winds, warming up outside of Marseille.  Read the ACM Press Release
.  Also, the conditions created the opportunity for some very nice photos of Thursday's action by Gilles Martin-Raget

Friday:
The Rade Sud saw practice starts and races for the benefit of both competitors and race officials.

Saturday:
Following the fleet parade to begin the festivities, an Optimist dinghy regatta was held in the Vieux Port, with the winner's prize being an 18th-man position during Act One.
