Oracle and BAR AC45s Withdraw from 2012/2013 ACWS Following Protest

The AC45 boats Oracle Team USA Spithill, Oracle Team USA Coutts and BAR – competitors in the America’s Cup World Series – have withdrawn from the event following the protest made by the Regatta Director for breach of Class Rules.
The International Jury has therefore reviewed the final results of the America’s Cup World Series and declared Luna Rossa Piranha the Overall Champion and Fleet Racing Champion for the 2012 / 2013 season.
